Taylor Reimer to Make her ARCA Debut With VMS

July 17, 2023 (Concord, NC) – Venturini Motorsports (VMS) have announced another promising addition to their team’s 2023 driver roster, 23 year old Taylor Reimer. Reimer will be making her ARCA Menards Series Debut with VMS at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Dutch Boy 100.

Reimer’s introduction to the racing world came early, at the age of 6 she began racing go-karts in her home town of Tulsa, Oklahoma. From there she transitioned to Jr. Sprints, picking up multiple track championships and over 40 A-Feature wins. Her jump to Restricted Winged Micros saw her expand on her existing accomplishments and she now holds the title of winningest female in the history of Port City Raceway.

Taylor took a brief hiatus from her racing pursuits to tackle academic goals, graduating with Honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science and a minor in Business. During her time at OU, she was a cheerleader on the OU All Girl Team, winning the 2021 Universal Cheerleading Association Division I-A National Championship.

Reimer returned to motorsports in 2021 racing Midgets. That year she was able to secure a heat race victory at her first career USAC race. Following a historic run of back-to-back national midget podiums, Reimer would go on to become the first woman to win a national midget feature race at the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series race at Millbridge Speedway in May of 2022.

With dreams of working her way up the ranks of NASCAR and inspiring other women along the way, Reimer is thrilled to be making her ARCA Menards Series Debut.

“I’m very excited to make my ARCA debut with Venturini Motorsports. Thank you Toyota Racing, Buzzballz Cocktails, VMS, and everyone who supports and believes in me,” exclaimed Reimer.

Reimer has expressed her desire to expand her racing resume and venture into stock cars. “I grew up racing on dirt so the stock car aspect will definitely be a learning curve. I have tested a late model a couple of times and have gotten more and more comfortable in the car each time. I’m up for the challenge of trying new things and I’m looking forward to furthering my career in racing.”

Reimer is set to make her ARCA debut carrying the support of Buzzball Cocktails this August. The race will be viewable live on Sunday, Aug. 20 at 2pm ET on FS1 and FloRacing.

Jesse Love Makes a Triumphant Return to Victory Lane Marking VMS’ 90th Win in the Series

Having captured his fourth victory of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, the Menards 250 was another dominant showing by 18 year old Jesse Love. The day saw challenging weather conditions which went on to impact the schedule, prematurely ending the first practice session and canceling both the second practice session and qualifying. However, starting from second position, Love was immediately able to overtake the No.18 car to put the No. 20 JBL Toyota Camry in the lead.

Love would go on to lead a total of 233 laps in the 250 lap race, with the first stint being held for 122 laps.

Following his victory at Elko Speedway, Love had nothing but praise for his crew chief Shannon Rursch and the improvements made to the car throughout the race, “Fixed center first, then first race break we fixed the entry, and the next break we fixed the exit. I mean you can’t pay a guy enough to do that. Hats off to him.”

Hingorani finished the day in third, matching his career best main series finish from the weekend prior.

In his third ARCA Menards Series start of the season Love’s teammate, Sean Hingorani in the No. 15, was able to match his career best ARCA finish from the weekend prior with a third place finish. Just behind him was another VMS Camry, the No. 25 of Conner Jones. Jones achieved his career best ARCA finish, crossing the line in fourth. The fourth VMS car, the No. 55 of Toni Breidinger, suffered a rear flat mid race. Despite the setback, Breidinger was able to come back through the field for an impressive 9th place finish.

Jesse Love holds on in General Tire 150 for third straight ARCA win

Pit strategy ultimately decided which Venturini Motorsports car would celebrate a victory in Friday’s General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

A caution for Scott Melton’s crash shortly before the halfway point brought Jesse Love and most of the field into the pit lane for fresh tires. Love’s teammate in Dean Thompson stayed out and managed to lead a few laps himself before making a stop during the next caution.

Despite making the most of the fresh rubber, Thompson could not find his way to the lead and could only watch as Love maintained control of the lead through a green-white-checkered attempt to claim his third consecutive victory on the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season.

“I just had a really good car,” Love said. “That made my job really easy. I was awful [in practice], and I didn’t do a lot of prep for this race beforehand because I’ve been racing so much these last nine days. I couldn’t quite rattle off a win, but it was great to get one here.”

The triumph for Love was a special one for Venturini, as the organization had never claimed a checkered flag at Charlotte prior to Friday evening.

Venturini has been close to visiting Charlotte’s Victory Lane several times since ARCA returned to the facility in 2018. Michael Self led a race-high 91 laps in the 2019 edition of the General Tire 150 before fading to fifth, while Corey Heim placed second in both 2021 and 2022.

Love recalled watching last year’s General Tire 150 from the spotter’s stand and how Venturini struggled to keep pace with the field despite Heim’s best efforts. He and his crew worked tirelessly to ensure they would have a strong car for Friday and was thrilled to see those efforts pay off.

“This means a lot,” Love said. “We struggled [at Charlotte] pretty bad last year, but Corey Heim did a great job running second. We did a lot of sim work and our engineer Monon [Rahman] does such a great job. He’s there late and works really hard, so it was really cool to get [Venturini’s] first win here.

“I’m not really sure if there’s anywhere else we haven’t won at yet.”

Now with three consecutive victories on his resume, Love has momentum on his side as the ARCA Menards Series prepares to embark on a busy summer schedule.

Two disappointing performances at Daytona International Raceway and Phoenix Raceway did little to deter Love’s confidence. He knew the cars prepared by Venturini would be strong enough to help him climb out of his deficit and eventually assert full control of the point standings.

While Love is elated to have three straight ARCA victories, he is not content with his performance and wants to keep adding to his win total over the next few months.

“I had lost for a long time for about two years,” Love said. “It was definitely disheartening, and you can question yourself when you get down like that. I’m trying to win as much as I can, and my wallpaper says, ‘tired of losing.’ I definitely still am even though we’re on a hot streak right now.”

The ARCA Menards Series will get a couple of weeks off before heading to Berlin Raceway on Saturday, June 17. The green flag is set to fly at 8 p.m. ET with FS1 providing coverage of the on-track action.
