Corey Heim Scores Runner-Up Finish in Return to ARCA at Michigan; Alan, Robusto Also Deliver for VMS

Making an unexpected return to the ARCA Menards Series, Corey Heim delivered a strong second-place finish for Venturini Motorsports in Friday’s Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Heim, subbing last-minute for Jake Finch who was sidelined due to illness, showcased veteran poise and speed in his first ARCA start since 2022.

Driving the No. 25 Toyota Camry, Heim proved to be the fiercest challenger to race winner Brenden Queen, applying constant pressure throughout the closing laps. Despite the long layoff from ARCA competition, the current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship contender found speed late and nearly chased down Queen for the win.

“Our cars were very equal, so I think [it came down to] track position,” said Heim. “Not having run one of these in a long time, it’s tough to dial that in. That last run was by far our best. Big credit to Shannon Rusch and the team for adjusting on the car all day and giving me something to work with at the end. Butterbean [Queen] did a tremendous job — he earned that one.”

Venturini Motorsports delivered a strong overall team performance at Michigan, placing two cars inside the top threeand three inside the top 10.

Lawless Alan, piloting the No. 20 AutoChargeIt Toyota, ran near the front of the pack all afternoon and brought home a solid third-place finish. The run marks Alan’s best career finish on the 2-mile Michigan track and adds momentum heading into the second half of the ARCA calendar.

Also impressing was Isabella Robusto, who wheeled her No. 55 Yahoo Toyota to a ninth-place result, continuing a consistent campaign in her debut ARCA Menards Series season.

The Henry Ford Health 200 marked the end of a three-race stretch on intermediate tracks. The series now shifts back to short track racing next weekend with a trip to Michigan’s Berlin Raceway for the Berlin ARCA 200, set to air live on FS1 at 7 p.m. ET.

With momentum building, Venturini Motorsports heads into Berlin with high expectations and a deep roster ready to contend once again.
