Brownsburg, IN – Venturini Motorsports continued its strong mid-season momentum during Friday night’s ARCA Menards Series event at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, with Lawless Alan finishing second and Isabella Robusto powering to a top-five result in grueling on-track conditions.
Facing extreme heat and humidity, Alan showcased consistency and resilience behind the wheel
of his No. 20 AUTOparkIT Toyota Camry. After starting inside the top five, he remained a threat
throughout the evening, ultimately finishing second behind race winner Bret Crews. The result
marked Alan’s fifth podium in the last six races and his eighth top-five of the season.
“After Dover last week, this one means a lot,” said Alan, who rebounded from a blown tire and a
P12 finish in that event. “We had a strong car and battled all night. I’m proud of the effort and
ready to keep the momentum going into Iowa.”
With his second-place run, Alan tightens the ARCA Menards Series championship battle, now
sitting just 26 points behind leader Brenden Queen with key races still ahead.
Also delivering a standout performance was Isabella Robusto, who continued her upward
trajectory in the No. 55 Mobil 1 Toyota Camry. Robusto crossed the line fourth, earning her
fourth top-five and sixth consecutive top-10 finish of the season. The Toyota Development
Driver now ranks fifth in the ARCA driver standings after eleven races.
“This team has worked so hard, and I feel like we’re finally getting into a rhythm,” said Robusto. “There’s still a lot of season left, and I’m focused on staying consistent and competitive every week.”
Veteran Mason Mitchell made his third start of the year in the No. 25 Pro-Seed Toyota Camry,
battling through handling issues to finish 17th. The 2014 ARCA Menards Series Champion will
aim for a bounce-back performance next weekend at his home track, Iowa Speedway.
Next Up: The ARCA Menards Series heads to the 7/8-mile Iowa Speedway on Friday, August 1,
as the championship battle heats up and Venturini Motorsports looks to return to Victory Lane.
