Race Highlights:

·      Venturini Motorsports (VMS) headed to Phoenix Raceway to round out the 2020 season. The race also marked the finale of the ARCA Menards Series West.

·      VMS fielded three Toyota Camry’s: No. 15 Drew Dollar, No. 20 Corey Heim and No. 25 Keith Rocco.

·      Officials held a modified one-hour practice/qualifying session, where the fastest time would also yield the pole position.

o   Corey Heim – 27.592 seconds – fourth

o   Drew Dollar – 28.095 seconds – ninth

o   Keith Rocco – 28.332 seconds – 14th

·      With only one planned brake for tires at lap-50, the green flag flew, and the intensity meter was already up. Three cautions flew within the first 12-laps, bunching up the field for another wild restart.

·      All three VMS cars kept their noses clean and settled into position, working their way to the lap-50 break. Under the break everyone came to pit road for tires, fuel and a round of adjustments to help for the 50-lap dash to the end.

·      Succumbing to several late race cautions, Dollar, Heim and Rocco continued to with their clean race, each battling heavy traffic along the way.

·      As the checkered flag flew Dollar finished fifth, Heim eighth and Rocco 10th.

·      On deck next for VMS is the ARCA Menards Series virtual championship celebration, scheduled for Tuesday, November 17th at 8:00PM ET. Fans can tune in live on ArcaRacing.com and through ARCA’s Facebook live.
