Pocono’s Tricky Triangle Up Next for Venturini Motorsports

(Concord, NC) June 24, 2021 – Venturini Motorsports (VMS) and the ARCA Menards Series return to action for their eight of 20 races on the 2021 schedule. Nearing the halfway point in the season VMS looks to continue their team success in Friday’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 with drivers Corey Heim, Drew Dollar and Chandler Smith.

Making his first ARCA Menards Series start since 2020, Chandler Smith, driver of the No.25 Safelite Toyota returns to VMS for Friday’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Speedway. Currently driving full-time in the Camplng World Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports, Smith is well-known in ARCA series. 

Making 33 series’ starts over the last three years, the Georgia teenager has 9 victories during his time driving for VMS. A consistent threat, Smith has led 33% (1,761 laps) of all series’ laps completed during competition.  In two previous Pocono starts, Smith finished seventh in 2019 and second last year. 

Championship contender Corey Heim (No.20 JBL Toyota) is back and looking for his third victory on the season after finishing 7th the last time out at Mid-Ohio. Heim, who’s battled Ty Gibbs for the top spot in ARCA’s points race finds himself with a slim one point advantage over his fellow Toyota Racing counterpart. Heim, a three time series winner finished fourth in his only career start at Pocono back in 2019.

Drew Dollar will make his seventh start of the season behind the wheel of his No.15 Sunbelt Rentals Toyota for VMS. Still looking to break into the win column in 2021, Dollar will make his second career start at Pocono in Friday’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200.  Dollar with one series win in 28 starts finished 12th in his last series start at Mid-Ohio. 

Friday’s ARCA Menards Series General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 will broadcast live on FS1 at 6 p.m. ET with live streaming available on the Fox Sports App. A radio broadcast also will be available on MRN and SiriusXM.
