It was a banner day for Venturini Motorsports at Lime Rock Park as the team swept the podium during Saturday’s Lime Rock Park 100, with Thomas Annunziata capturing his first career ARCA Menards Series victory, followed by teammates Alon Day and Lawless Alan in second and third, respectively.
Annunziata’s breakthrough came in dramatic fashion. Driving the No. 70 Venturini Motorsports prepared Toyota, the 20-year-old New Jersey native overcame early contact and a first-lap spin to storm back to the front and take the win in just his fifth ARCA start.
“I can’t thank Toyota, Nitro Motorsports, and Venturini enough for taking a chance on me,” said Annunziata, who earned the General Tire Pole Award with a blazing lap in Friday’s qualifying. “This was the first time I’ve had a car capable of winning, and we made the most of it — even after going to the back. This is what it’s all about.”
Nicknamed “Hollywood,” Annunziata put on a show for the fans, charging back into contention after an early race incident. He took the lead for good with 33 laps remaining after a bold move into Turn 1 on teammate Lawless Alan, who had briefly inherited the lead following a miscue by Alon Day at the halfway break.
Alon Day, making his ARCA Menards Series debut, led early before a pit road mistake shuffled him to the back. Undeterred, the four-time NASCAR Euro Series champion battled back to finish second.
Lawless Alan, in the No. 20 AutoParkIt Toyota, continued his remarkable season with his seventh top-five finish in nine starts, finishing third. The result keeps Alan firmly in the ARCA Menards Series title hunt, as he now sits second in championship standings, just nine points behind leader Brenden Queen.
Isabella Robusto, making her first career road course start in the ARCA Menards Series, brought home a solid 10th-place finish in her No. 55 Yahoo Toyota. It marked her fourth top-10 of the season and extended a strong midseason surge.
After nine races in the 2025 season, Venturini Motorsports continues to shine with both Alan and Robusto holding top-five positions in the national driver standings — Alan in second and Robusto in fifth — with 11 races remaining.
The series now heads into a brief break before returning Friday, July 18 for the General Tire 150 at Dover Motor Speedway. Live coverage begins at 5 p.m. ET on FS1, where Venturini Motorsports will look to build on its dominant performance and continue its championship push.
