BRENT CREWS SET TO MAKE HIS ARCA MENARDS SERIES DEBUT WITH VMS

Venturini Motorsports (VMS) is excited to introduce a new member to their lineup of drivers for the 2023 season. 15-year-old Brent Crews is set to join VMS for a pair of highly anticipated ARCA races this year – the General Tire 100 at Watkins Glen International (August 18) and Dutch Boy 100 at Illinois State Fairgrounds (August 20).

Crews arrives with an impressive racing portfolio that speaks volumes about his potential. With aspirations of reaching the pinnacle of NASCAR, he expresses his enthusiasm for climbing the motorsports ladder: “I’m so excited to have the opportunity to run with such a great team at two amazing race tracks. I’m looking forward to Watkins Glen next weekend.”

Crews has already made his mark on the racing world, clinching a Trans Am Series victory at just 14 years old, making him the youngest winner ever in the Series. His remarkable performance at Road America not only earned him the distinction of youngest Motul Pole Award winner, but also saw him taking the checkered flag. He followed up this success with another triumph at the Music City Grand Prix.

With an impressive track record already established in the 2023 season, Crews has demonstrated his skill with victories at three distinct courses: NOLA Motorsports Park, Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, and Road America. His aptitude for excelling on road courses is bound to serve him well as he gears up to take on Watkins Glen alongside Venturini Motorsports.

In addition to taking on the iconic road course, Crews will also be showcasing his talent for dirt racing at this season’s Springfield race. Crews has demonstrated himself to be a talented dirt racer with an impressive five wins in the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League.

Team owner Billy Venturini has expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with Crews, stating, “We had the opportunity to work with him when he was just 14 at the Toyota Combine. He’s an incredibly talented young driver. It’s quite interesting to welcome our first driver who is younger than my own children.”

Carrying the support of Mobil 1, Crews will be working alongside crew chief Monon Rahman and the No. 25 crew at Watkins Glen. Rahman conveyed, “ We’ve all had Brent’s debut with VMS circled on our calendar. He’s already been a huge help with our road course program this year on the sim side, and I can’t wait to see how it translates with him at the track.”

Crews will make his ARCA Menards Series debut on August 18th at Watkins Glen International. The race will be available live on FS1 at 6pm ET.
