CONNER JONES RETURNS TO VENTURINI MOTORSPORTS FOR 2023

January 13, 2023 (Concord, NC) – Venturini Motorsports (VMS) is thrilled to announce the return of 16 year old Conner Jones to VMS. Jones, who has seen exponential growth since his debut race with the team, will be piloting the No. 25 Toyota Camry.

Throughout the early stages of his career, Jones has consistently demonstrated his talent on  various short tracks. Turning 17 at the end of February 2023, he will be age eligible to compete on one of the larger tracks on the ARCA Menards Series calendar; Pocono Raceway.

In addition to adding the 2.5 mile track of Pocono Raceway to his 2023 Schedule, Jones will also run nine short tracks and two road-courses with Venturini Motorsports to comprise a 12 race ARCA campaign in 2023; Phoenix, Dover, Elko, Mid-Ohio, Iowa, Pocono, Lucas Oil, Watkins Glen, Milwaukee, Bristol, Salem, and Phoenix.

Jones took part in a six race schedule with VMS during the 2022 season. Upon his return, he will be partnering up with crew chief Kevin Reed Jr. Jones and Reed Jr made their debut together at the end of the 2022 season with which the duo  managed an exceptional qualifying result at Phoenix Raceway. Jones will carry the support of PepperJack Kennels and Jones Utilities on his No. 25 Toyota Camry.

As a premier driver development program, VMS offers all of the necessary resources to enable a driver to graduate into the highest levels of NASCAR. Led by Billy Venturini, the team has unwavering confidence in the potential of 16 year old Jones.

“Conner is a young driver with huge potential” explains Billy Venturini. “We’ve already had him in the VMS program for 6 races and he has shown impressive speed in every one of them. I believe that having had that experience in 2022, he has what he needs to achieve great results with us in 2023.”

Hailing from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Jones began racing at the karting level. Since then he has honed his skills through a number of different series. As a super late model race winner and having run a full season in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, Jones arrived in ARCA well equipped to progress through the ranks.

Jones revealed these talents during his debut with Venturini Motorsports at the 2022 ARCA East race at Dover Motor Speedway where he earned a third place finish. Jones is eager to draw from the momentum of a successful season while he strives to clinch his first win in the ARCA Series.

“I feel really good going into this season” explains Jones. “The VMS crew puts together good cars and I think I will be capable of winning with them.”

Jones’ ARCA season will kick off on March 10 at Phoenix Raceway. The race will commence at 8pm EST and will be viewable on FS2 or through the Fox Sports App.
