July 23, 2021 (Concord, NC) – All eyes focused on the next ten races as the ARCA Menards Series Championship battle between Corey Heim and Ty Gibbs resumes Saturday in the Shore Lunch 150 at Iowa Speedway. With 10 races down and 10 to go, Venturini Motorsports’ wheelman Corey Heim heads to the Iowa with a slim 5-point advantage.  Combining for nine wins after the first ten races Heim and Gibbs have near mirror stats after the midway point.

Heim, driver of the No. 20 JBL Toyota enters the second half of the season with four wins, 9 top-5’s and ten top-10’s.  The Georgia driver kicked of the season in dramatic fashion winning at Daytona International Speedway.  His VMS backed team went on adding victories at Talladega Superspeedway, Pocono Raceway and Elko Speedway earlier this month.

Rejoining Heim this weekend in Iowa is VMS teammate Drew Dollar who returns to the seat of the No.15 Sunbelt Rentals Toyota.  Making his eighth ARCA Menards Series appearance of the season looks to break into the win column after a pair of second place finishes earlier in the year.  Competing part-time in ARCA during 2021, Dollar has posted five top-5’s and six top-10’s.

Jesse Love, in the midst of a three race series appearance streak, slides back in the No. 25 Mobil 1 Toyota as he targets his first career win in ARCA’s premier touring series.  ARCA Menards.  Love, a native of California, has posted three top-5’s and four top-10’s on the season, including a career best at Elko Speedway.

Venturini Motorsports Set for ARCA’s Battle at Berlin with Power Trio Lineup; Corey Heim, Jesse Love and Gracie Trotter

July 15, 2021 (Concord, NC) – After a podium sweep last weekend at Elko Speedway, Venturini Motorsports returns to ARCA Menards Series short track action with a carbon copy lineup for Saturday night’s Zinsser SmartCoat 200 at Berlin Raceway.

Set in Western Michigan off the scenic shores of Lake Michigan, Berlin’s tricky 7/16-mile paved oval delivers exciting action flag-to-flag. This week’s event will be no different as championship title contenders once again face off for 200-laps of racing under the lights.

Fresh off his fourth victory of the season, Corey Heim (No.20 Craftsman Toyota) enters the series’ half-way point on the schedule with a slim 7-point advantage in the point standings over fellow Toyota driver Ty Gibbs. A two pony show from the onset, Heim and Gibbs have dominated ARCA Series competition in 2021, trading blows and combining for nine wins in as many races.

Eighteen-year-old Heim has been a model of consistency on tour with an impressive 2.2 average finishing spot while completing every lap run during series competition during the first nine events. In addition to his four wins, the Georgia native has claimed one General Tire Pole award, eight top-5’s and nine top-10’s.

The California kid, Jesse Love, returns to ARCA Series action after setting a career best second-place finish last week at Elko Speedway.  Piloting VMS’ No.15 Mobil 1 Toyota Camry, Love, 16, is running a straight diet of short events across ARCA’s elite touring series, the West Series and other standalone late model races.  A threat every time he slides into the driver’s seat, Love is the defending ARCA West Champion.

After a turbulent start to her season the highly touted Gracie Trotter (No.25 Calico Coatings Toyota) is beginning to take shape after strong finishes in back-to-back ARCA Menards Series events.  The Denver, North Carolina driver finished third and set a new career best last week at Elko Speedway.  At home on the short tracks, the 19-year old driver became the first female driver in history to win an ARCA sanctioned event after capturing the checkered flag in 2020 during the ARCA West race at the Bullring in Las Vegas.

Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series Zinsser SmartCoat 200 from Berlin Raceway is scheduled to broadcast live on MAVTV starting at 8:00PM ET.

Corey Heim Wins Elko in Dramatic Fashion; Jesse Love, Gracie Trotter Complete Podium Sweep for Venturini Motorsports

July 12, 2021 (Concord, NC) – It was Saturday night short track racing at its best.  Expected to be a fierce battle between ARCA Racing Series championship contenders Corey Heim and Ty Gibbs, the two drivers squared off under the lights at Elko Speedway for the Menards 250 – and they didn’t disappoint.

After 247-laps of racing it came down to a final late race caution to restack the field to determine the winner.  Trailing Gibbs with only three laps remaining, Corey Heim and his No. 20 Craftsman Toyota lined up behind his rival on the final restart. At the drop of the green a determined Heim wasted no time as he put a bumper to Gibbs entering turn one and muscled his way past the leader to earn his fourth victory of the season.

After the race Heim defended his move commenting on Gibb’s aggressive driving earlier in the race when the two drivers were battling side-by-side for the lead when Gibbs nudged the left rear of Heim moving him up the track for the lead.

“We also have a couple of dents on the left rear, the left side door and the left front,” Heim stated from victory lane when asked about the damage to his car related from the early race incident with Gibbs. “Just paid back what he did to me earlier in the night. That’s all it comes down to.”

The only ARCA tour winners so far on the season, Heim and Gibbs, who finished fourth, have now combined for nine wins overall. Heim entered Saturday night’s Elko race with a three-point advantage over Gibbs for the lead in the standings – his win extends that lead to seven points with 11 races remaining.

Not to get lost in the headlines, Venturini Motorsports’ drivers Jesse Love (No.15 Mobil 1 Toyota) and Gracie Trotter (No.25 Calico Coatings Toyota) turned in exceptional efforts completing the team’s podium sweep finishing second and third in Elko’s short track classic.  Both drivers, with limited series starts each, set new personal bests with their respective finishes.

As summer moves on expect the heat to turn up a notch between series rivals as the ARCA Menards Series enters a three week stretch of short track racing beginning with the Zinsser Smart Coat 200 at Berlin Raceway on Saturday night.

Focus on Elko Speedway’s Bullring in ARCA’s Return for Menards 250; Venturini Motorsports’ Corey Heim Takes Point Lead to Minnesota

July 7, 2021 (Concord, NC) – The Land of 10,000 Lakes welcomes back the ARCA Menards Series for this weekend’s Menards 250 at Elko Speedway. Located 30-minutes outside of Minneapolis, Elko Speedway has been a mainstay on the ARCA schedule since former Venturini Motorsports’ driver Brennan Poole won the inaugural race in 2012.

Consistently packed with enthusiastic race fans, Elko’s top-notch facility features a tight 3/8-mile paved oval which year-after-year delivers exciting racing action from the drop of the green flag.  Falling off the schedule last season due to Covid-19, VMS returns to defend Chandler Smith’s team victory in 2019.

Leading the way back to Elko for VMS is current ARCA Menards Series’ championship points leader Corey Heim (No.20 Craftsman Toyota).  Coming off his third win of the season two weeks ago at Pocono Raceway, the 19-year old driver hopes to keep the pressure on his competition.  Holding a slim 3-point advantage over Ty Gibbs for top spot, the two Toyota Racing Development drivers have delivered back-and-forth blows all season long – expect nothing else this weekend as the rivalry continues.

Boasting a 2.4 average finish over the first eight races of 2021, Heim, with four ARCA career wins since 2019 has accumulated seven top-5 and eight top-10 finishes to go along with his 2021 season victories at Daytona, Talladega and Pocono.

Expecting to challenge Heim at Elko is 16-year old teammate Jesse Love who returns to ARCA’s premier series to pilot VMS’ No.15 Mobil 1 Toyota Camry for his second ARCA Menards Series appearance of the 2021 season.  Love, the defending ARCA West Champion, is coming off a dramatic West Series win over 4thof July weekend at Irwindale Speedway. The second of nine scheduled ARCA Menards Series events with VMS in 2021, the Menlo Park, California teen finished fourth at Toledo Speedway back in May.

Also making her first team driving appearance since Toledo is 19-year old short track vixen Gracie Trotter (No.25 Calico Toyota).  After an inconspicuous start to her season, Trotter rebounded the last time out with a sixth-place finish. Running an abbreviated 10-race ARCA Menards Schedule this season, the Denver, NC native became the first female driver in history to win an ARCA sanctioned event after capturing the checkered flag in 2020 during the ARCA West race at the Bullring in Las Vegas.

Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series’ Menards 250 from Elko Speedway is scheduled to broadcast live on MAVTV starting at 9 p.m. CT / 10 p.m. ET.

Corey Heim Gets Back in the Win Column and Extends ARCA Championship Points Advantage with Victory at Pocono

June 27, 2021 (Concord, NC) – Corey Heim and his high-powered Venturini Motorsports (VMS) JBL Toyota team held off Ty Gibbs on Friday to claim their third win of the season in the ARCA Menards Series General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway.

Heim’s timely victory provided the teenager with critical points in what’s shaping up to be a tight championship battle.  Heim holds a slim 4-point advantage over Gibbs for the top spot with 12-races remaining on the schedule.

“This JBL Camry was phenomenal today,” said Heim, who picked up his fourth career ARCA Menards Series victory Friday at Pocono. “I dedicate this one to (crew chief) Shannon Rursch; he hit the balance perfect on that last stop. I tried to do the best I could for feedback. He hit it right on the dot.”

Heim took the green flag for the final restart Friday at Pocono Raceway thinking he was in the wrong position. Turns out he was in the perfect place at the right time, and 17 laps later, he took the checkered flag to win on the legendary 2.5-mile tri-oval. Heim’s Pocono win also marks VMS’ 75th ARCA Menards Series victory all-time.

On that last restart, knowing the inside was the preferred lane, race leader Ty Gibbs dipped low in an attempt to block a charging Chandler Smith (No.25 Safelite Toyota) at the drop of the green flag. Gibbs and Smith made contact and drifted to the inside wall, sending Smith back up the race track. Somehow, Smith amazingly avoided other cars and saved his own from a spin.

Smith had to pit after his contact with Gibbs; the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular finished 12th a couple laps down.

Drew Dollar (No.15 Sunbelt Rentals Toyota) continued to be a model of consistency on the track finishing third for his fifth top-five finish in seven ARCA Menards Series races this season.

The ARCA Menards Series returns to action Saturday, July 10, for the Menards 250 at Minnesota’s Elko Speedway. That race, scheduled to start at 9 p.m. CT / 10 p.m. ET, will broadcast live on MAVTV Motorsports Network with live streaming available on NBC Sports Gold’s TrackPass.

May 28, 2021 (Concord, NC) – All racing eyes will be sharply focused on Charlotte Motor Speedway this Memorial Day Weekend for a quadruple header featuring NASCAR’s current and future stars.  Joining NASCAR’s top three series (CUP, XFINITY and Camping World), the ARCA Menards Series takes to the track in primetime Saturday night for the 100-lap General Tire 150.

Leading the way back to Charlotte for Venturini Motorsports (VMS) is the current series’ points leader Corey Heim. Heim, driver of the No.20 JBL Toyota Camry, with crew chief Shannon Rursch calling the shots, enters weekend competition with a 17-point advantage over fellow Toyota driver Ty Gibbs and boasts a staggering 1.8 average finish over his first five starts of the 2021 season.

Like most racers growing up, honing their driving skills on short tracks, Heim has further proven his stock on the big tracks since becoming speedway eligible last year.  Of his 21 ARCA career starts, six have come on track surfaces 1.5 mile and larger.  Finding his knack for speed, Heim shines during superspeedway competition – yet to finish outside the top-4 positions in each of his six speedway races, the Toyota driver has three wins (Kansas ‘20, Daytona ‘21 and Talladega ‘21), a third place effort (Kansas ‘21) and a pair of fourth places finishes (Kansas ’20 / Pocono ’19) on his resume.

Another hot shoe for VMS looking to make headlines in Charlotte is Drew Dollar.  Returning to ARCA action, Dollar is back behind the wheel of his familiar No.15 Sunbelt Rentals Toyota Camry with Billy Venturini atop the pit box.

Dollar with one ARCA victory (Talladega ’20) over 26-career series starts has a pair of runner-up finishes and three top-5 finishes over his first five events of the 2021 season.  The 20-year old driver, running a split season in ARCA and NASCAR’s Camping World Truck series, will be pulling double duty this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, running the NASCAR Truck race on Friday night followed up by Saturday night’s ARCA General Tire 150.

Chomping at the bit to make his ARCA season debut and second series start of his career, Texas native, Parker Chase will hold the wheel for VMS driving the No.25 NXTLVL Marine Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Chase, the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge Champion and American sports car road course veteran, will make his first of five starts on the season with VMS during Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 in Charlotte. The New Braunfels, Texas native will also compete in ARCA’s top division at Winchester Speedway (7/31), Bristol Motor Speedway (9/16), Kansas Speedway (10/23) before finishing his schedule driving in the ARCA Menards Series West finale at Phoenix Raceway (11/6).

Chase, who earlier in the year signed with Kyle Busch Motorsports for two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ road course events, has one career ARCA start on his resume competing on Daytona’s Road Course in 2020.  Parker, competing with Toyota teammate Kyle Busch, also captured a top ten team finish in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in 2020.

With 74 all-time ARCA Menards Series victories, the long-time ARCA team will rely on the Toyota driver trio of Corey Heim, Drew Dollar and Parker Chase to deliver the team’s first ever win at Charlotte.
